It was established in 2019 with the goal of making investments in alternative energy production in our country, implementing innovative technologies for waste recovery, disposal, and remediation, and becoming a center for production and application.
In order to support the fight against climate change and global warming, prevent environmental pollution, and leave a cleaner, more livable future for future generations, Panab Enerji provides simultaneous reclamation and recovery activities—such as the rehabilitation of wild dump sites across Turkey, the design and operation of sanitary landfills, biomethanation, energy generation through gasification-incineration, Refuse-Derived Fuel (RDF) production, the recovery of packaging and excavation waste, and the disposal of hazardous and medical waste—alongside engineering, contracting, and consultancy services focused on these activities.
With its medical waste disposal and integrated solid waste facilities located in different regions across Turkey, it contributes to protecting and improving natural resources and ecosystems, as well as creating a healthy and livable environment for current and future generations.
Compliance analyses for non-recyclable wastes within solid waste sanitary landfill operations are ensured under the Regulation on the Landfill of Waste. Following the verification of compliance with Annex-2 criteria and the control of validation analyses within the scope of the Regulation on the Landfill of Waste, wastes are landfilled in accordance with environmental legislation in our sites, which are made impermeable using specialized geomembranes. The company provides these services across Turkey's leading metropolitan cities..
The source-segregation, collection, accumulation, transportation, and disposal of medical wastes are carried out using specialized and secure methods, keeping them separate from other waste streams.
The Eastern Anatolia region's first ecological and environmentally friendly greenhouse was built by Panab Enerji. It has enabled uninterrupted agriculture despite harsh winter conditions. Heated by waste heat, this highly eco-friendly greenhouse utilizes the thermal energy generated from burning methane gas derived from urban waste. Equipped with fertile soil produced from waste, these completely environmentally friendly greenhouses make it possible to practice agriculture at the desired standards.
Through its integrated solid waste-to-energy power plants, Panab Energy transforms waste into electricity with a total installed capacity of 45.686 MW, supplying enough clean energy to meet the monthly electricity demand of approximately 277,076 households.
By burning 16,446 tons of methane gas monthly, the company prevents the formation of greenhouse gases and stops them from being released into the atmosphere.
